Why come to Ibiza in October
- Beaches: October and May are the best months to enjoy the most popular beaches in Ibiza, such as Ses Salines, Cala Benirrás and Aigües Blanques, among others. You can park easily and enjoy a peaceful swim at a pleasant temperature, as the water is an average 22ºC in October.
- Sunny days: statistics show that it only rains an average 5 days in October, so there are many chances to sunbathe.
- Hiking routes: the mild weather is also perfect to go hiking. If you enjoy walks in the countryside, there are nearly a dozen trails around Hotel Ánfora and the village of Santa Eulària des Riu. Trail number 1, for instance, starts at Es Canar beach, only a few metres from our hotel.

- Kayaking: October is also the ideal month to explore Ibiza’s coast from a kayak given the mild temperatures. A beautiful route that starts only a few kilometres away from Hotel Ánfora is route number 8, that goes along the coast from the beach of Es Figueral up to Caló Roig. - Events in the diary: In October, you must also keep an eye on the calendar to make sure you don’t miss any of the very interesting proposals. Some of the events planned for this month are the Ibiza Light Festival (13-15 October), III Fira de la Sal (27-28 October) and Fira Gastronómica des Calamar (27 October) which is held in Sant Carles de Peralta, only a few kilometres from Hotel Ánfora.

- Street markets and boutiques: October is perfect to go shopping around Ibiza as you can find fantastic bargains in the stock left over from the summer. We suggest you stroll through the streets in Ibiza’s La Marina district and visit the street markets on the island as they are all open this month. The closest to Hotel Ánfora is the hippy flea market of Punta Arabí, which takes place on Wednesdays and is only a short walk from our hotel.
