Walking in Ibiza: 9 free guided walks
Until 17th November, the town council of Santa Eulària des Riu will organise these nine guided walks for free. Most of these are on Saturdays and are along paths around the village area that have a special scenery or cultural interest.
- Puig d’Atzaró Route – Saturday 12th May
This 3-hour moderate walk reveals the charming valley of Morna, towers and traditional fountains.
- Es Puig d’en Valls Route – Saturday 26th May
This is an easy walk that takes 2.5 hours and goes by the windmills that were used on the island in the old days.
- Es Canar Route – Saturday 14th July
A 3-hour moderate walk that starts in the afternoon from the beach of Es Canar, only a few-minute walk from Ánfora Hotel. The route goes by Cala Nova and the area of Sant Carles.

- Cala Llonga Route – Saturday 18th August
This moderate walk lasts 3 hours, starts in the evening and goes by beautiful spots on the coast and inland near Cala Llonga.
- Cala Llenya Route – Sunday 26th August
Beautiful night walk of moderate difficulty that starts at Cala Llenya and heads towards Cala Nova and other points of interest in Sant Carles.
- The River Route - Thursday 20th September
This guided easy walk takes 2 hours and will show you the relevance for Santa Eulària des Riu of the only river in the Balearic Islands, as well as legends and the iconic fortified church of Puig de Missa.

- Jesús Church Route - Tuesday 25th September
A beautiful 3-hour night walk of moderate difficulty that starts at 8 p.m. It starts at the Jesús Church and goes by the coves of s'Estanyol and Espart.
- Canal d’en Martí Route - Saturday 3rd November
This moderate walk along the coast lasts 3 hours. Discover quaint coves with their fishing atmosphere and stunning views of Tagomago islet.
- Santa Gertrudis Route - Saturday 17th November
The beautiful country landscape of Santa Gertrudis is the main feature of this 2.5-hour moderate walk.
