The charms of Ibiza's eastern coast

Islands have an appealing advantage over all other seaside destinations: their diversity. Heading north or south, east or west will make a difference, no matter how small the island may be. And Ibiza has over 570 square kilometres of surface area. If you’re not yet sure where to stay during your holidays, take note because Ánfora Hotel believes that you should head towards the eastern part of Ibiza.

A quiet coast, but not boring

The eastern coast of Ibiza is ideal for visitors who want a quiet, peaceful holiday, but also want to be relatively near to the island’s nightlife. The city of Ibiza, for instance, is only 15 kilometres away from Santa Eulària des Riu, as well as the emblematic nightclub PACHA, that hosts its famous Flower Power party every week. But the eastern side of Ibiza also has its own entertainment, including the Nikki Beach club or the Atzaró Beach.

Beaches for all tastes

The oriental side of our island has some of the most beautiful beaches and coves in Ibiza, such as Aigües Blanques or Cala Nova. But it also has many other unique beaches, including Cala Boix, with its dark sand, or Cala Mastella with one of the most rustic and popular beach bars on the island: El Bigotes. Our hotel is next to Es Canar beach, which is a pleasant urban beach with all the services you could wish for.

First-class food

Either on the beaches or inland, you will find a wide choice of excellent food: paellas and fish stews at Pou des Lleó, Ibizan recipes at Ca Na Ribes, French cuisine at Es Terral, Mexican specialities at Taco Paco, vegetarian dishes at Caos, romantic dinners at Amante or grilled meat at Can Suldat, in Es Canar, only a few minutes away from Ánfora Hotel.

Your holidays will be as active as you wish

The island’s eastern coast has the two most important street markets in Ibiza: the Hippy Street Market in Punta Arabí, which is a short walk from our hotel, and the Las Dalias Street Market. You can also visit many quaint churches in Ibiza, including Puig de Missa in Santa Eulària or the churches of Santa Gertrudis, Sant Llorenç or Jesús. And if you get tired of sunbathing easily, you can also visit the island through its tracks, explore Ibiza’s coast on a kayak or practise different water sports.

A hotel with history

We know what the eastern coast of Ibiza has to offer because that is where you will find the Ánfora Hotel. Our four-star hotel has been recently renovated, but the family business has been welcoming our guests since 1969. Book a room with us and make the most of your holidays in Ibiza.
