From east to west: a route by car from Hotel Ánfora
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at our restaurant, we suggest you head to the western side of Ibiza taking a route full of beaches, vineyard-dotted valleys, quaint villages and Ibiza’s sunset. This is the route we suggest:
- Morning: go to the small cove of Mestella, then to Cala Boix -one of the few beaches in Ibiza with dark sand- and then to the breathtaking cove of Aigües Blanques.
- Lunchtime: Enjoy a bullit de peix (fish stew followed by typical rice dish) at El Bigotes, in Cala Mestella, or eat at one of these two stops: Sant Llorenç de Balàfia and Santa Gertrudis.
- Afternoon: keep heading west passing by Sant Mateu d’Albarca and Santa Agnès. You’ll see the traditional architecture and valleys with vineyards and almond trees. From Santa Agnès church, take the road that skirts around the valley up to the viewpoint of Sa Penya Esbarrada, also known as Las Puertas del Cielo (Doors to Heaven) and admire the sunset from the cliffs.
